Who am I?
My name is Niyeda Suliveres pronounced (nī-ee-da sue-lee-vair-es) Don’t worry… I won’t hold it against you if you pronounce it wrong. I live in Metro Atlanta and am an elearning designer and training specialist. I love anything and everything that will allow my creativity to fly!
Everyday is viewed as a new learning opportunity to improve and refine my skill set because learning is a never ending journey. I have experience in: Warehousing/3rd Party Logistics, Corporate Recruiting, Technical training, Insurance (Life, Health, Auto and Home) Event Planning and am also a Crafting guru.
I am a creative learning and development professional skilled in the design and implementation of e-learning courses and instructional design as well as LMS Management, developing user manuals and how-to guides, writing and hosting webinars and in-class facilitation.
What do I enjoy?
I have a passion for learning the in’s and out’s of new software and and creating user guides or training to teach those around me. I absolutely LOVE developing e-learning in Articulate Storyline and am always checking out blog post and challenges so that I can continue to grow my knowledge in this development tool.
Strangely, I actually really like creating reference material and user guides. I like taking a process and breaking it down to where a not-so-tech-savvy user is able to get through in a breeze.
Also, I believe highly in gamifiation. I think taking boring, sorry, I meant policy driven content or compliance material and converting that information to a gamification course is not only a challenge I love to take on but also, it’s a way that learners can find a little bit of enjoyment during the course and a bit of self driven motivation to get the course completed.
What can I do for you?
Kind of a loaded question but the answer is a lot! I am used to working with little to no budget for design elements so I have a lot of experience working with or creating graphics to fit my needs. I also am versed in being a department of one. This means that I design the course, work with SME’s, storyboard, write the script, record the audio, edit the audio, do the graphic work, develop courses and pretty much anything else that may be required to GET IT DONE! However, the instructional design and course development are my favorite pieces of the process.
